Disappointed. I love the concept, but the writing is a let down, and very little of the comedy lands. Just roll the damn die already!

Gatlopp (aka not-Jumanji) is comedy centred around a cathartic sentient board-game that relies on horror elements to force a man-child into emotional growth. (It's totally not Jumanji.) At 80 minutes, the film doesn't overstay its welcome while providing a few laughs and a somewhat insightful glimpse into the distancing relationships of college friends. It's an easy watch, though it does miss a few opportunities to be wittier, funnier, scarier, and overall just a bit better.
