Gas House Kids Go West

They rectify a lot of that with this second entry in the Gas House Kids series. They go back to the drawing board and basically made the short-lived series a Our Gang/Little Rascals spin-off, putting Carl 'Alfalfa' Switzer up front, as Alfalfa, doing Alfalfa things, like the god awful singing he used to do in the MGM-era Our Gang shorts. They even bring in some of the old writers of Our Gang shorts. It's still very low-brow comedy, but with these guys it worked a whole lot better.
