Absolutely bizarre Hong Kong Street Fighter movie, in which Honda, Ken and Sagat travel back in time to kill a judge who has imprisoned M. Bison in the future. Dhalsim, Vega and Guile are cops who follow them and recruit others to fill the roles of Chun Li and Blanka in order to stop the baddies. Bogged down by a lot of stupid humor, but it's packed with insane video game battles. There's also a brief Super Mario spoof and for some reason Goku from Dragon Ball Z shows up at the end. Mental.

Much like having me around, it's fun for the first 5 minutes but then the whole situation becomes a live-action cartoon where it's mainly embarassing or hilarious for all involved. Still, this is the best Street Dragon Mario Z Fighter movie ever made.

Really weird Street Fighter action/comedy. Has some strange and dumb humor, which was either too dumb to appreciate, or hilariously bad. The action can be great, if it's not interupted by the dumb jokes. The plot is hard to follow too, eventually I was able to figure out what was going on. So, my question is now, what does Super Mario and Dragonball Z have to do with Street Fighter..?

One of the the first video game adaptations, but it's also a Hong Kong movie from a time where it was commonplace to market movies as sequels or adaptations with absolutely no connection to what it claims. Compound that with a trend in Hong Kong 80's-90's action movies to throw cogency and reality out the window and dance on it wearing stilettos and now what we have is a movie that makes no sense in any way, with ridiculous fighting sequences, and I mean absurd. It's not without its place.

I could not even finish this movie... Too painfully boring, when the audience is supposed to be laughing. It is like "Hot Shots" gone wrong...

This movie got off to a hilarious start but quickly dissipated into a boring and predictable high school comedy (even though the main kid is supposed to be 20-something and is still getting beaten up by teenagers with bizarre hairstyles/is still interested in teenage girls). The movie redeemed itself slightly at the end when it forgot it was supposed to be about Street Fighter and turned into Dragon Ball for no reason.
