Die Hard With a Vengeance territory as Spoiler Alert the Vampire turns out to be the sibling of the original villain. This time around it's a girl and I'll tell you what, I found Chris Sarandon sexier. I'm a fan of what they did with this. Don't know why I had to watch it off of YouTube though. Time for another release. Three figure Amazon discs. Get the heck out of here.

Loses all of the charm of the original, a very low stakes affair Heh Heh Heh *strangles Gene Shalit with a string of garlic* The ooey gooey creature effects in the finale are almost worth the slog.

The world's about to be taken over by Prince's backup band and it's up to a hornier, less likeable version of Charlie and a jollier, crazier version of Peter Vincent to save us. Oh God.

A band of vampires, looking more like a heavy-metal band, is out for blood. Well, yes, what else? Too many tricks and special effects by half (or by three-fourths), but some of the night maraudings are pretty creepy, and the queen-bee vampire (Carmen) is, or has, a striking figure, and the method of dispatching her is satisfyingly simple yet clever. The jokes can be abided with gritted teeth.

While this is content to tread water (or, more accurately, blood), the pic plays as a highly watchable, light-veined horror vehicle in its own right.

Wow! So happy I gave this one a try. Actually, a really decent sequel to the excellent Fright Night.

Not sure why this got so much hate. It has vampires bowling, a vampire on roller skates, and Julie Carmen being a vampire goddess. Not better than the original or the remake but still a good time.

Vampires bowling? Sexy lady vampires out to drink your blood? This has it all and while plot-wise it's a little bit all over the place and not as strong as a whole as the first one is, it's still an entertaining watch. With some funny bits and awesome special FX, it's accompanied by some 80's tunes that fit the relaxed mood of this film. The vampires really should just build their lairs in places where there are no curtains, breakable walls, or any way of sunlight reaching them. Just saying.

I never got into the original that much, really, but this one with its humour and 80s idiosyncrasy(hornyness) won me over

Poor cash grab sequel. None of the charm or humor of the first.

Not that great at all. The first one was entertaining, but this is just boring. It might be enjoyable if you drank some cough syrup, and drank a six pack. Otherwise, just watch the original.

Who doesn't like a slow motion, roller skating vampire?

Not good. The shame is that the original is an effective horror sleeper. This is a train wreck.
