I'll say straight off that I hate those "you've got problems, i've got problems" romances, but they simply don't make great love stories like this anymore.

It's such a lovely and realistic movie. about love. No bullshit, pure reality. It's so well made, Iwhile watching we could relate to almost everything in the movie. Though, I'd probably give it a 80 had I not watched it with my girlfriend. I'd advise you to watch it with your SO, it enhances the experience.

Good, lively performances all around. Has Pacino ever been funnier? Did the sassy gay friend cliche start here? I don't care, Lane nails it. The story of damaged people coming together works well.

What a perfect end scene... It's one of the few romantic films I like.

Full of New York cliches, and romance cliches, but, I mean, it's Michelle Pfeiffer and Pacino ain't so bad playing himself.
