Driving cross-country, Ray and his wife and daughter stop at a highway rest area where his daughter falls and breaks her arm. After a frantic rush to the hospital and a clash with the check-in nurse, Ray is finally able to get her to a doctor. While the wife and daughter go downstairs for an MRI, Ray, exhausted, passes out in a chair in the lobby. Upon waking up, they have no record or knowledge of Ray's family ever being checked in.

Predictable my ass. I had 3 possible endings and none of them happened. The movie starts out very slow then heats up fast. It was a solid mind game for the 2nd half of the movie and didn't stop till the end. Eerie....creepy....intense. I really liked it. Well worth the time and I would watch it again.

One of the most compelling and poignant psychological, horror thrillers I've seen. While the viewer is encouraged to weigh each possible conclusion throughout, the film does an incredible job at not revealing itself until the very end, at which point it reveals a bit too much. In hindsight, it all feels a bit too obvious, cheap and patronizing. However, if you're able to look beyond your own hubris, you'll see a decent film, one that uses the horror genre effectively to tell a story of grief.

There are contrivances and missteps, but this is a very solid thriller. Worthington is excellent and carries the whole thing.

You can guess the twist right away. This is barely a spoiler: construction site with no barriers and uncapped rebars, the lead pushes someone violently, cut to a close up of the lead's unhinged face, creepy musical sting for good measure. It's just too obvious, but it's still a lot of fun to see how deep the delusion goes.

A very jittery first 10-15 minutes, but then the movie builds up great tension till a brilliant climax. Enjoyable. Mildly melancholic.

Pretty creepy movie. You expect it, but also you don't expect it... You see the movie through the eyes of the lead.

Already a very tight thriller that keeps one guessing, it's further lifted by Worthington's nigh masterful performance. The final thirty minutes lose some of the luster, but are still pretty good.

Nothing exceptionally new, but a good enough tale for what it was. Obviously gets its premise from a certain video game fan theory, that if you are a fan of that game, you will know immediately what im talking about by films end. Not bad.

I found nothing particularly wrong with this film. It just felt like it had been done before and was not too exciting or thrilling. Being a thriller, there was more expectation for those elements. I would say it feels akin to an episode of the twilight zone that's drawn out to be a full length feature.

This movie is INTENSE (especially the final 30 mins). It has some plot holes and predictable scenes, but it plays tricks on your mind, and keeps you at the edge of your seat until the end.

Worthington did his best, but it wasn't direct really well, it was just too obvious that something was wrong, too predicatble for its own good. So you didn't feel the suspense, you just waited for the end to learn what exactly happened. Decent visuals and good acting but not much left once it's over.

Severely bad healthcare, PTSD exploitation that it's at least pretty watchable despite so mean and predictable. The Human Organ box says it all.

It doesn't really maintain the tension required to represent this type of movie, but it was still an entertaining ride. This was despite the fact that it was predictable, which these types of movies shouldn't be. Anderson has done a lot better than this though.

This reminded me of an Alfred Hitchcock film, where the protagonist is convinced that he alone knows the truth and everyone else is out to get him or doesn't believe him, and we're along for the ride to find out whether or not he's right. I thought this was easily Sam Worthington's best performance to date. I'm surprised at the tepid to bad reviews on this, as I felt it did a great job of keeping up the tension throughout.

not sure why it had to be so relentlessly visually ugly. also every time i see sam worthington i wonder how he became a movie star. it seemed to happen really out of the blue too, can't recall seeing him in anything before he was suddenly a leading man in avatar and other movies. he's not like overtly bad, he's just so... bland. anyway, brad anderson is underrated but this wasn't his finest hour.

If you want an "Are they crazy or not?" film that's much better, check out "Flightplan" with Jodie Foster. But "Fractured" is a generally poor take on the genre and I can only recommend it if you really have nothing else to watch or do.

While it IS cliche, Fractured is still an entertaining film that I found to be unpredictable and alarmingly engaging. Sam Worthington kills it in this kind of role, and it makes me wonder why he hadn't done it before.
