Too soapy for me. Four disparite young women, sharing accomodation face life's challenges, boring and predictable. No. As peyrin in their review alluded too, the spoon was a surprise, but much like the movie, ultimately purposeless.

Obayashi really brings a unique warmth to these melodramas. Splotches of color in clothes, flowers, and props punctuate everyday scenes. Also has a couple left-field bits to keep things interesting like the woman using a spoon as a weapon.
