Fortune and Men's Eyes

When Queenie first comes on, my first reaction was "It's Owen Wilson! And he's actually giving a performance... how on earth did THAT happen??" Then I realized he was 3 years old in 1971. A real curiosity of its time, it seems both naive and knowing now. None of the character transformations at the end are believable, and though Wendell Burton is the perfect fresh-faced ingenue, somehow Queenie ends up the most sympathetic character in the movie. The odd title is from a Shakespeare sonnet (?!).
