Had cameos from Frances Langford, Leo Carrillo and other, and it was sure needed. At least it gave a otherwise bland musical some class. This was such by-the-numbers production that not even Robert Mitchum could do much to elevate the low effort writing attached to Follow the Band (1943). The characters on top were fine, but again, there was little they could do other than get us through a standard experience.
