A funny hour long Monty Banks produced comedy, but compared to the absolute greats it's a bit too ordinary in it's idea and execution. Still brings plenty of laughs and clearly shows he had a good sense of gag-making. Personality wise Banks it perhaps a little difficult to get behind. Good natured, slightly dumb, a bit of a wimp and not a handsome ladies man. One can feel for him, but one doesn't root for sorry guy. The leading lady though is interesting. A dark haired Jean Arthur!
