Technicolor and a sly Victor Jory help make Flaming Feather (1952) worth wild. Richard Arlen role was surprisingly small, but they photographed him extremely well the little he was on. Sterling Hayden & Forrest Tucker were fine up-front, even if they weren't exactly taking the screen by storm in this. I think it was more the director Ray Enright holding this back. He was a decent B-movie director who'd been around since the 1920s, but he had a long track record of having a clear ceiling.
