While the film takes on an important task and displays decent performances from the cast, the flawed delivery of the script and lack of depth to the narrative make it a mediocre and forgettable experience.

All the amazing stories out there abut the soviet air force, and they make this tripe.

everything is grotesque, obsolete and fake. (the cinema, the veracity, the story, the feelings, the dialogues, the language...Not to mention few cinematographic shots unintentionally contradicting what the story was telling (the crack on the wall separating them when they will reunite just after that...)
