Film in Which There Appear Edge Lettering, Sprocket Holes, Dirt Particles, Etc.

I watched this in its entirety because my time is worthless, and I can assure you that once you get through the awkward first act, it gets really good.

20 points for having the balls to do absolutely nothing with 6 minutes of film time, but it's still an incredible waste of time.

During the first minute I was like "What's this?". Then, deliberately or not, it became hilarious. Unfortunately, after the third minute it gets rather boring. As the story and its complex characters develop, though, there's a remarkable plot twist at 03:51, but it doesn't lead anywhere until the mind-blowing final eight seconds. One must also mention the epic title that describes such a profound film with a mere twelve words, three commas and a dot.

This has serious pacing problems

Margin shifting to center, center to margin needs something happening in the new margin to create the novelty. If you are gonna show me a derivative obvious idea why make a film out of it? A picture would suffice.

Worst part is that it's not even 6:08 minutes of film in which appear edge lettering, sprocket holes, dirt particles, etc., but maybe 24 (frames!) in cycle in which there appear edge lettering, sprocket holes, dirt particles, etc. This means a fucking second in which there appear edge lettering, sprocket holes, dirt particles, etc. repeating for 368 seconds in which there appear edge lettering, sprocket holes, dirt particles, etc. I think in 5 seconds most people would get the main idea.

Significant for just how long it makes 6 minutes seem. If it weren't for the fact that it was a huge waste of time, I would recommend anyone wanting to extend life to watch this film over and over. I've seen 3 hour films shorter than this.

Watched all of Summer Lovers, made it like halfway through this.

Well the ideas behind is are nice. You even think it's neat in the first minute... not 6. It goes into "Shit" territory. Watch it for 30 seconds and then you got the general idea. So points for the ideas expressed, no matter how abstract, and points for it being ballsy.

Well, it's certainly a descriptive title. And the edge lettering pulses in a somewhat hypnotic way, but boy, I stopped watching after about 30 seconds, concluding that there were more important thins to do in life.

So this seems to have become widely regarded as the quintessential avant-gardist jerk-off or something, but, honestly, I don't resent the time I spent with it at all, and there are plenty of far worse ways to spend the same amount of time. I'm not unimpressed, just totally disaffected.

I could make a hundred terrible jokes about how this film is a waste of everyones time but luckily my sense of irony has maxed out for the day.

Whats wrong with this film: 1) the title is a huge spoiler. 2) If you listen carefully, then you will notice that it is the same sound throughout the same film. Also, where is the 10 hour version of this? I demand that version be uploaded and that someone records themselves watching it.

Uhhhh .... yeah. I wouldn't say I was disappointed by this. I liked the sound of it. Probably five or six times longer than it should be. Not for everyone, I suppose.

For anyone who's ever projected a film, you'll get more interesting results from projecting the tail-end of a reel. I'm sure there's some sort of stupid philosophy behind this but I don't give a damn.
