I found it be funny. John Cleese, Michael Palin and Jamie Lee Curtis are in top form and the supporting cast is also strong. Kevin Kline tho dissappoints. It's painful how topical the issue of a hostile financial take-over, downsizing and having to meet new set profit margin still is two decades later.

At one point Kevin Kline is riding a panda, tigers are wearing booze advertisements (because you can't spell booze without zoo), and Cleese is running around shooting guns and sucking blood off zoo visitors, and everything is still way less ridiculous than anything in Joe Exotic's zoo.

A good comedy that actually makes me laugh, unlike most. John Cleese, Kevin Kline, and Jamie Lee Curtis are all top notch in this movie, the writing is good and entertaining and you never need to wait too long before you get another joke.

This film is a lot funnier than A Fish Called Wanda

A few really funny parts but mostly just sort of pitiful.

I remember enjoying this film a lot when I first saw it, but I don't remember much about why. Generally, if I don't remember what made a film funny or good, then it certainly wasn't that good after all. Let this film be a lesson to those who rank movies immediately after watching them, as you need to give a film time to sink in before you judge it on a final merit.

Watchable, but a huge letdown from the creative team that brought us the hilarious A Fish Called Wanda.

Fierce Creatures has some funny moments but unfortunately it is a big letdown from the classic A Fish Called Wanda. I think part of the problem is one of the characters Kevin Kline plays (the father) is not really funny. John Cleese has some funny moments but he has done better work elsewhere. So in the end this all adds up to make an average comedy movie.

Hilarious! I loved all those subtle Python jokes strewn all over the movie.

This is so stupid and, objectively speaking, very bad. But Michael Palin kept me laughing almost throughout.

Michael Palin is the best, but this movie sucks.

A pleasant comedy that delivers on a farcical level, boosted enormously by the charisma of John Cleese as well as an over-acting yet delicious Kevin Kline. The humour doesn't win any intelligence awards and can get slightly childish or derivative now and then, yet "Fierce Creatures" remains an above-par, enjoyable hour-and-a-half.

Disappointing "sidequel" to A Fish Called Wanda.

Generally a poor effort, propped up upon the talents of Cleese and Palin among others to try and gain some grounding. Sure there are a couple of slapstick moments and at times it can be quite amusing, but generally it's all dull and thoroughly pointless stuff. There's also a general lack of wit, mostly focusing on visual humour which for the mostpart isn't all that fantasitc. The animals, when they actaually use real ones, are pretty good though and prevent the film from falling on its face.

Af og til ganske underholdende, den virker dog lidt anstrengt i sit forsøg å at nærme sig "Wanda".

Avoid comparisons with Wanda and you'll find an often times amusing little movie. Sure the plot is rather predictable, but Cleese, Kline and Palin cannot help but be funny.

An enjoyable comedy, even laugh out loud funny at time. For a movie about a zoo, it thankfully avoids too many "wacky animals" moments, although it does get a bit slapsticky at the end.
