Fear

Good acting by the appealing Sheedy and a breakneck pace; this falls down only at the end with a corny climax that manages to rip off both _Strangers on a Train_ and _Horrors of the Black Museum_.

Solid, but formulatic/predictable.

This was watchable but felt more like a TV movie.

Simple, earnest, cliched, middle-of-the-road, yet surprisingly scary. Maybe not a classic, maybe corny, but definitely an overlooked genre gem. If it is quaint, this just helps make clearer the ways in which it's very well put together and how easily and confidently it achieves its goals. Ally Sheedy and Pruitt Taylor Vince have a compelling screen rivalry; both are hunter and hunted.

Sheedy's a real good screamer and the killings were wonderfully creepy. Somehow it didn't quite come together and the ending felt cheap.
