Haven't read the book, not much here anyways

Lumiere's got nothing on Melies, but cool to see they were doing trick films too

Filming a clip of a stage play isn't quite making a movie but it is enough to wet the appetite for the rest of the story

The Lumières put out a Méliès imitation in fairly short order, and... it's very underwhelming.
