The film is infused with a lot of heart (no pun intended) and Kevin Hart gives one of his better performances to date. He's much better here as a serious actor than in most of his "comedic" roles. Maybe this is his new lane. Worked for Jim Carrey.

It's one of those movies that is clearly throwing everything at you in order to make you feel. Some may see it as cheesy or manipulative and it is both of those things. But this is also a case where that worked for me, mostly because among the heart is a genuine sense of humour and a great performance by Kevin Hart, who is flexing some acting chops

A great option for a good family evening. I was very surprised by Kevin Hart's performance, he should be in more films like this in the future.

Feel-good movies. It doesn't offer you anything new as a cinematic experience. We watch a cliche subject with different actors, but capturing such details can make you happy at any moment. It's one of those movies that has the potential to make you cry and laugh at the same time. I liked Kevin Hart's performance. If you check out some watch not wasted time movies, this is a nice option. Maybe we can even see a sequel to Fatherhood in the future. Of course with Kevin Hart!

A comedy/drama that is a bit light on comedy and heavy on drama. It's about a father raising his young girl by himself. It has several fun and cute moments. The writing was uneven. The story is stunted at times, but remained watchable. Kevin Hart was a too serious. I really liked DeWanda Wise in this. Suitable for the whole family. Worthwhile.

"In it, together." The story of single parent (father -Kevin Hart(Mathew)) who raises his daughter. Matthew and Liz Logelin are overjoyed when their baby is born, but Liz dies unexpectedly a day later. Amid grief and sorrow, Matthew, a new father, raises the girl named Madeline. It was difficult for him to raise a child but he never gives up and he did it very well!!!

I enjoyed it, it was good to see Hart in a slightly more dramatic role but still having his comedic chops. A decent family flick.

Watching this less than a week before the birth of a child probably primed me to be more affected by this than most, but I found it to be extremely touching. While I'm a little ashamed to admit it, I might have gotten a little misty. Just don't tell anybody. I've got a reputation, you know.
