When Shamrock was young, the Cat killed his parents. Now grown, Shamrock gets appointed Marshal when he breaks up a robbery attempt by Tex and his men. Tex works for the Cat and when he and his men rob the Express Office, Shamrock takes out after them hoping to get not only the gang, but also the Cat. (imdb)

James Ellison & Russell Hayden continue working through old western scripts in what became the last of 6-film partnership of 1950. Standard stuff where nether guy manages to elevate the cowboy action going on. At least there was enough stuff happening for it to entertain, but it didn't urge the hunger for more Shamrock & Lucky adventures.
