Filmin sonunda, hayat devam ediyor. Doktor kendi haline bırakın dedi.

Another incredibly underrated film about the continued and ever present pain in the lives of members of the LGBTQ+ family. Even the lack of positive reactions to this incredible film (and Boulevard) are evidence that the tough times are far from over.

It was exhausting watching the father constantly be an asshole, but the authorial intent was spot on there, so I really appreciated it. I dunno, I was drawn into this and even though the difficulties I enjoyed watching all of the interactions. Viggo directed this with a soft touch and it got soundtracked the same. Everybody in here was on point and while Viggo himself was really subtle for most of it, the end explosion of emotions felt so earned. A powerful film.

A bit unrefined but offers some good performances and themes along the way.

Often either too blunt or too slow, but lots of good scenes inbetween. Sverrir Gudnason is great.

This movie is a very unpleasant examination of mental decline. To live with it would be incredibly heartbreaking and disturbing. Much like the way this movie makes you feel. It has a few exceptional moments, but unfortunately the bad far outweighs the good. The father was an unlikeable ass, and his mental decline made him intolerable. Viggo was wasted and there wasn't enough of Laura Linney or Hannah Gross. Overall, it was painful, annoying, and not worthwhile.
