A strangely intriguing German movie with roots in the traditions of German expressionism. We meet Death as he hunts a young man. A man that meets a rootless girl who helps him. They fall in love and the girl tries to outsmart Death to save her man. Some very haunting visuals, but for some reason director Frank Wisbar would just as easily lose the momentum in the next shot. So a little uneven, but definitely a interesting moody experiment.
