FM

The script is average, it contains some dated and bad moments. The music is good in this film and some of the characters are interesting. Overall I would recommend this film.

The idea of a movie about a FM station sticking it to the man is promising, unfortunate the movie doesn't live up to that promise with underdeveloped characters, an underused cast and plot with enormous pacing issues. This is typical example of commercialized counterculture with a rock station, who's idea of revolutionary rockers are musician as Boston, REO Speedwagon, Jimmy Buffet, Linda Ronstadt and The Doobie Brothers.

Not much of a movie in terms of plot or character arcs,but a great soundtrack and appearances by Linda Ronstadt,Tom Petty and others make it a worthwhile,fun watch

bit of a nostalgic bent for the rating. Fond memories of the Steely Dan theme song, and Martin Mull and the white-nippled "Dolores Deluxe". I believe Mull's opening line was "so - did you get laid last night?" I liked near the end - the amped-up throng outside the radio staiton as "We Will Rock You" blared away over the p.a. Too bad Loni wasn't in this.
