Humorous haunting with a parapsychologist. Or parapsychologists...oooooooohhhhh. I'll never tell. I only went about regular ordinary for this as it throws a lot at you with only some finding a stick.

Daft, sweet & cute | Some highly amusing, verbal & visual, riffs on The Exorcist etc | VERY Irish in its heart & gentle humor | Slow, steady pace (best car chase ever) - it's not a rat, tat, tat & zippy comedy | It's more by way of extended sketch situational & odd character based humor | It's not a Mocumentary but, that aside, it reminds me in tone of What We Do In The Shadows [+ splash of Father Ted] | My guess = U like ‘WWD In TS' then you'll also enjoy this

There are some laughs and surprises, but the plot is too sluggish, and the comedy is hit or miss.

It's quirky for sure, but it works for me. Liking Forte isn't necessary to enjoy this film, but it would definitely help. A lot of laughs perfectly packed into an hour and a half.

Hugely tongue in cheek supernatural Irish comedy, that's a bit hit and miss in the laughs but there are some very funny lines and sight gags. Forte as a Chris De Burgh inspired satan worshipping talented musician was genius though.

Extra Ordinary is an enjoyable film, though uneven in its performances, tone and identity. At times it's reminiscent of Hot Fuzz, with a wry sense of humour regarding its characters. Other times, including the ending, it dials up the slapstick resulting in lacklustre budget action. Forte does his usual schtick, and for the most part it works. Higgins was consistently pitched. I couldn't tell if Ward was supposed to be dashing or dopey (though part of that may have been the Irish accent).

Didn't think that the horror or comedy worked, but Forte was casted correctly as the over-the-top villain. I really don't have anything else to say besides that, and that's a problem. It just came and went.

This was a silly little movie. It's not really my kind of movie so I never cared too much about what was going on, but there were fun moments here and there. I kind of wish Claudia O'Doherty had a little more to do, because she is always a delight when she's on screen.

I did not expect to laugh as often or as whole heartily as I did. It was a delight to see Will Forte playing a sinister yet equally harmless version of Tandy from "The Last Man on Earth." I find movies like this become unbearably flat in the third act, but Extra Ordinary stayed lively throughout. It appears to be a debut film from the directors, and I can't wait to see what's next.

A tongue in cheek Irish comedy that has a lot of heart. Maeve Higgins is great in a self-deprecating role that garnered a lot of laughs. Obviously Will Forte plays is role in a big way that suits him, but the whole cast is quite funny.

Couple extra points for patriotism. Best Irish comedy movie since The Young Offenders. Actually preferred this as well. Really good effects or a low budget yoke.
