not so good

I'll give them credit for it not being a typical possession, but other than that, the movie was rather ridiculous. I mean a diy exorcism site that looked super goofy.... I can't believe I made it through an entire hour before I have up.

This was so ridiculous that it could've made a great comedy but it's played straight and is terrible

Backmask.... Exeter.... The Asylum.... whatever they want to call it, is typical okay slasher horror where a bunch of young people visit a old asylum and experience demons. Got every cliché imaginable, as well as some violent and bloody scenes which I found more funny then gross. Not really good, not really bad.

Even by the low standards of teen-party horror this is ineffective, devoid of atmosphere, unable to generate response or engagement. In recent years Stephen Lang seems to have become typecast as a less than admirable priest. He does mix judgmental and sternly authoritarian quite well.
