Is this a good movie? No. Not really. Is it at least funny? In moments, generally quality minor laughs with few major laughs. Would you recommend it? Absolutely yes. Why? Vinnie Jones opens two bottles of beer with his eyes. That's why you'd recommend it? I think that speaks for itself. Are you stupid? *mimes opening two beer bottles with my eyes

Vastly underrated. This film is a great mix of humour based on how Americans view Europe and how Europeans view America. The comedy goes beyond the typical American teen movie into more absurdist areas that probably appeal more to European sensibilities. It's full of cultural stereotypes, not least the sterotyping of American teens, but it uses them in very funny ways. There's a lot of very smart humour hiding behind slapstick and dick jokes. It also has Michelle Trachtenberg in a bikini.

If you are North American and have ever lived in Europe for longer than a year, this movie is a must-see. I think what a lot of people miss here is that this isn't really a comedy for Americans -- it's a comedy for anyone who's had to endure the complete idiocy of American tourists. It is a satire not of Europeans, but rather of Americans' ignorant perceptions of them. Well done.

Pretty much exactly what you'd expect if you've ever seen a 2000's sex comedy, it's a time capsule of the era that could (& should) never be made today. Some of the jokes land, others not so much- particularly the ones poking fun at sexual assault & the one where a girl somehow gets tricked into fondling herself- but honestly the overwhelming satirical tone kind of makes it work. It does have its moments, & maybe I'm a sap but the ending's pretty cute. Not a must-see, but not the worst.

I'm not a fan of the American Pies, I hate all the National Lampoons, and I didn't even like Road Trip; but EuroTrip had something more than just boobs and penis jokes. It had heart, it had charm, and I finished it in love with all the leads. It's a solid film, and a hysterical highschool-style slapstick comedy.

I've seen this a couple of times -- it's on cable, or the DVD is playing at a party -- and it's still pretty funny. Episodic, yes, and dumb, maybe, but there's enough smart and surreal humor here to kind of like it. It's better than most teen sex romps these days.

Would have been a lot better if Madame Vandersexxx turned out to be Jenny's aunt and Mad Maynard was Madame's ex-boyfriend and this movie was all about them instead of a bunch of vanilla high school grads. The movie pretty much stops dead whenever the kids are featured. They are so boring that even when funny things happen to them you just find yourself wishing for more charismatic stars.

Neither the best nor worst of the "naughty aughty" teen comedies; suffers somewhat from lagging, lurching pacing, due to its structure as a series of comic set pieces rather than a building narrative. The cast members are blandly likable, but this thrives on its cameos (Damon, Armisen and Jones are stand-outs). For all its faults, a better than decent good time.

Amerikan Pastasının Avrupa versiyonu. Liseyi yeni mezun Scotty, güzel sevgilisinden ayrılır. Mektup arkadaşı için Berlin'e gider. 4 arkadaş, Londra'dan başlayıp Berlin'e kadar komik maceralar başlar. Çok komik olmaktan çok eğlenceli. Oyuncular çok iyi. Katolikleri çıldırtacak kadar da saçma. Filmin sonunda, Mieke'sına kavuşuyor. Tünelin ucu nereye varıyor? Scotty bilmiyor.

This film is adolescent and immature, but nevertheless was sometimes amusing and provides a few great laughs. Cameo performances and Lucy Lawless were almost entirely wasted. Vinny Jones role was awful. A few nice topless scenes with gorgeous young girls, but also a lot of silly stupid nonsense. Some of the humor was way over the top, but at least it was clever. Worth watching if you need a few laughs and don't mind the stupidity.

Painful beginning (might've found it funnier if I'd realized the singer was Matt Damon, though), but it does get more tolerable as it goes on; the stuff in Amsterdam actually made me laugh. And although the four main characters* are all either unfunny and unlikeable or very close to it (especially Scotty--"don't right me fucface," "ZUSAMMEN!?"(Really? You don't know the word "zusammen"?) etc.) some of the minor characters are kinda fun. Certainly not the worst stupid-bad film out there.

The best part is the meathead dudebro appearance of Matt Damon at the very end singing some cheesy lyrics. Silly, fun teen comedy in the mould of Road Trip and the National Lampoon vacations. Everyone and everything the group encounter is an extreme stereotype, but unashamedly so, and definitely amusing as a result. Runs at a great pace, the cast work well, and there's a bonus of a few pretty topless ladies too (and Matt Damon performing 'Scotty Doesn't Know'). One of the better examples of this type of flick.
