The premise is very daft indeed and you could drive a bus (ho ho) though some of the holes in the plot, but it has a certain period charm about it. Harry Fowler is fun as the chirpy Cockney lag and the finalé is pulled off pretty well considering the budget. Also worth watching to see Peter Sallis playing a retard who, for once, does not have a plasticine pet dog.
