Digby Smith's one-off attempt in the movie industry, producing and directing this British costume drama and putting Marianne Stone in the starring role, one of the earliest films she did. And it's clear why Digby never made another movie. The acting and writing was so bad. Like local theater style performances without any nuances to the words. Straight line reading, which felt more like explaining what they were doing than a normal conversation.
