Maya Vinodini (Amala), who grew up unparented but with lots of money sent to her via her local guardian Sivaprasad (Prathapachandran), is the leader of a bunch of boisterous girls at St. Mary's College. When taunted by Dr. Srinivasan (Suresh Gopi) about the identity of her parents, she sets out to find them. After discovering that her mother is the famed Carnatic singer K.S.
