A lazy, washed-out reporter, Vineeth N. Pillai (Mohanlal), who works for the women's magazine 'Vanitharatnam' is tasked with obtaining an exclusive interview of the latest talk of the town - lawyer & social justice warrior Deepa (Manju Warrier).
