Unusual to see Asta Nielsen do a comedy! The first big superstar of the European screen is mostly known for her dramatic and somber roles. But here she plays a older girl who has to pretend to be 12 to get her inheritance which create a humorous situation. And she actually pulls it off well. Makes me wanna see the silent star in more funny roles. While Engelein is a cute comedy, it perhaps lacks the real funny scenarios to make an lasting impression.
