Ének a búzamezökröl

To me it was more the composition than the story itself that was gripping. Sometimes a little light, otherwise quite haunting. It's a movie that makes an impression, but might not be the most likable of experiences, if that makes sense. What it also is, is the rebirth of Hungarian cinema since it's collapse because of the war. And right away it becomes political.
