I can't get past how weird it sounds to hear Bugs Bunny before his finalized design. The humor still needed some polish too. But this short proves useful as evidence that even the best animators in the world didn't get it right the first time. Besides, I like to imagine this short explains why Elmer Fudd became a hunter.

Always hilarious

The only thing really interesting about this is that it's the first sighting of Elmer Fudd, before he was even a hunter.

Belabored gags, somehow overwrought music; it's a step toward the Looney Tunes we know and love but certainly doesn't work. Elmer's more sympathetic here as he merely wants a picture of prototype Bugs, who here might as well be Daffy.

an early version of elmer fudd works just as well as any later version, note that he isn't trying to kill the wabbit this time.

All he wants to do is take a picture why won't you let him take one, Bugs???

Didn't care much for this.. It's from before Looney Tunes got into it's stride. This just isn't very good.
