Really? Mediocre to bad on every aspect. Can't find anything positive to talk about. When has there ever been a 3 digit pin on anything?

As a horror film this fails miserably in every single aspect, but if you view it as a comedy, the result is actually quite satisfying. In other words - I laughed. A lot.

Not bad, could have been really good, but... During the actual movie I kept feeling like something was off. Then the twist came and, sure, that's valid, but it seems they were so in love with their twist that they never really bothered to sell the pre-twist story in a way that worked.

Not too bad. Biggest issue is that it puts too many jump scares in a short time span and they lose all punch. Has some interesting touches that become stronger upon the finish.

I thought the twist was kind of bad, I kind of wish the aesthetic it had at the start was still there throughout.

Everyone's shitting on this? Why? Were they mad at the ending? I always appreciate a twist ending, even when it comes out of nowhere, and especially when it's a big fuck you to the audience! At least it made sense. And it was entertaining to watch.

WTF? Movie turn 360° in last 20 min. Waste of time.

I'm convinced that 80% of horror movies would benefit from leaving the third act on the proverbial cutting room floor. Like with so many other horror movies, you think you know where you're going but then the movie decides to take a religious left turn and you are stuck there with a "here we go again". First two acts: pretty cool/10, third act: Jesus/10.

Konusu güzel ve farklı.Çok korkutmasada ortam ve gerilimi iyiydi. Sadie Sink'i çok beğeniyorum :)

Misguided Omen ripoff that tries to tackle a bunch of horror subgenres -- haunted house, devil's kid, cult, exorcism, evil parents etc -- and doesn't do well in none of them.

It started well. I was totally intrigued. I was not prepared for the denouement which really cheapened it.

A ghost-story? Wait for the denouement.

Eli starts off as you'd expect a budget horror to and as such will lose many viewers early. But then it does something few films - particularly of this type - ever manage: it gets better. Slowly but surely the story unfolds, twists are revealed, and you're actually invested in what's happening on screen. At its best Eli even gets close to a redeeming 3-star status, but you'd still have to sit through the first half full of jump scares and cliched nonsense to get to the good bits.

Spoilers I'm not usually one for the suddenly becoming religious type of movies, but I don't know, this one just worked for me. I have to say watching Eli take out his anger on everyone was entertaining, but I don't know if it would be the same for someone who is religious, maybe they would actually get a more horror movie feel from the ending. I enjoyed it quite a bit given most films with such subject matter would end with the religious one being the victors.

A bit stupid, a bit ridiculous, but a well-executed twist, and it's kooky and fun.
