Elevator to the Gallows

Actress Michiko Kichise plays Meiko, the wife of a medical company chairman. She is having an affair with Tokito, a doctor played by Hiroshi Abe. Meiko and Tokito plot to kill the chairman at his office with plans to make it look like a suicide. When Tokito returns to the building in an attempt to destroy evidence, however, he becomes trapped in an elevator. (The Mainichi Daily News (http)
