A German Opera "midget" in Venice teaches us that size does matter. Doesn't matter if one has got the most manly opera voice in town. You'll still lose the girl of your dreams to your mediocre normal sized sidekick. The movie however is just an excuse for singer Joseph Schmidt to do his thing. Felt like it was one song after the other so be sure you enjoy operatic music before you turn this one on.
