Ehe im Schatten

The film is surprisingly direct at the humane injustice pushed forward by the recently dissolved Nazi regime. A clear moral change of the time. The production is rather ordinary, but the seeing the retribution being so clear so soon after the fall of the Third Reich was really something which had me invested in the story. The acting is good, especially by Ilse Steppat who plays his wife, while Paul Klinger does Joachim Gottschalk justice, channeling him standing up for his believes.
