Effetti di luce

A fairly unremarkable run of the mill adultery drama from the old days of Italian cinema. This is the kind story that there exists too much of. I guess it was easy to make as far as static staging goes. There are some semi-creative scenes so it's not the dullest of attempts, but it's still forgettable in it's standardized 1910s format. Ugo Falena, one of the directors is probable best known for doing some of the earliest surviving cinematic versions of William Shakespeare & Oscar Wilde's work.
