Dying

A finely crafted movie many may enjoy, but coming from Glasner it disappointed me. It's a Magnolia-like set of five segments about four family members, each facing their own struggles with the parents dying, and the son and daughter experiencing more mundane dramas. Three hours long, it succeeds in neither mining any depth from the unlikable characters, nor tying its disparate ends together. Some rather extreme moments will jolt you out of fatigue, but they otherwise seem inconsequential.
