Mary Astor the gangster chick! And boy did she look sparkling in that role! The story plays out a little ordinary in that rom-com kind of way, cute and naive, and definitely could have used a lot more danger in it's mob environment. Edmund Lowe was definitely Dressed to Kill (1928) and a very solid leading man in this good, but underdeveloped, gangster romance. Could have been so much more, but for a standard popcorn flick it had it's appeal.
