That 25 isn't for how good the movie was, cause that would have made it a ZERO. The 25 is for one of the best times I've ever had with my friend watching this movie. We laughed the entire time! The movie starts out in a flashback of a flashback of a flashback. This lasted for a half hour and me and my friend completely gave up on the plot. From that point we just laughed at how rediculous this was. The dragon battles were just ok. Make sure you watch this with a friend, being drunk would help.

Sheer garbage. There is nothing postive I can say about the film except that the CGI isn't completely terrible. Except for that, the film is atrocious. The story is retarded, it has a flashback within a flashback within a flashback (seriously), the action scenes feel like they're out of Power Rangers with a simply larger budget and the dialog is about on par with the new Star Wars films. Awful film, not so bad it's good, just plain awful.

A superb parody of cheap-ass, moronic, ugly sfx laden monster/disaster movies. What... what do you mea-.. not a parody? Are you sure? With the acting so terrible and the script so atrocious, I assumed... Oh, wow. Just.. wow.

As you'd expect Dragon Wars is a cheesy and brainless action film, focusing on a giant serpent creature despite the title. Most of the action involves running away from the serpent monster, which then proceeds to destroy many cars and buildings. The plotline is pretty much lost amidst the CGI effects which are for the mostpart surprisingly good. There's niggles here and there though, like forgetting to animate in a troop of soldiers and the dodgy looking choppers. Watchable and not overly bad.

Should have been called "Running from the Giant Snake" because that's what the majority of this film is. A giant snake, not a dragon. Amazingly, it contains EVEN LESS DRAGONS than Reign of Fire.

Doesn't deserve the truly negative and hateful remarks and scores it gets. It is a well made film with quite good effects and CG with good action scenes. It is a fantasy flick and if you enjoy the style and enjoy seeing dragon movies than you should definitely give er a go.

While we receive good shots of dragons with relative frequency, the acting is so terrible, and the writing so bad, that it is not altogether worth it. Only watch it if you have something else going on to distract you from the mindlessness. The dragons are pretty cool looking.

A piece of utter brain-dead schlock, but has an energy and vitality about it that elevates it above its status as a bargain basement cheapie – with expectations appropriately tempered, there’s much to enjoy here, with some well-wrought action sequences and creature design propelling the film past some lumpy exposition. It’s always fun to see Forster, but the cast highlight is Robinson, injecting some manic energy as needed against the more doleful Behr and Brooks. No keeper, but still good fun.

This probably benefitted a lot from being viewed back to back to Dungeons and Dragonsbut this one just really doesn't belong in the imdb bottom 100. Better than plenty of these CG Korean monster movies I've seen and decently entertaining. D-War is also one of the single greatest titles/subtitles of all time.

The most expensive South Korean film ever made falls on its backside the moment actor Robert Forster has to deliver exposition that is 1) wooden and 2) about a deeply unoriginal mythology for the film. Most of it consists of bland protagonists running away from a giant, unappealing CGI snake and a forced story about following one's destiny (frankly the concept of destiny can go fuck itself if it makes people act like these paper-thin characters do). Just avoid it, it's not worth it.

The story is terrible, hilariously contrived with umpteen flashbacks and back to back "it was just a dream" moments but it's all just a weak excuse for serpents, dragons and magic knights to have an all out war against modern military in an urban setting and it does a pretty entertaining job of that. Pure brainless action movie fun.

If you know what RiffTrax are, watch this with RiffTrax. Hilarious. "That must be a pretty serious injury, he wasn't able to shake it off like that point blank gun shot wound." Instant classic. Actually even without the rifftrax, this is pretty hilariously bad. Like really bad. Really really bad.

I was in the mood to watch a really bad movie, and this did not disappoint! Fun concept, but they had to lay waaaaay too much pipe to get the backstory out. The dialogue is suitably atrocious, but it sometimes gets covered by the bad sound mix. Behr & Robinson are competent actors, but I'm pretty sure even they knew how bad it was (that or the director told everyone to phone it in with cheesy readings.)

Did you know this movie cost $75 million? That this movie is the most expensive movie ever made in South Korea? And the most recognizable actor they could hire was Darryl from The Office?

First of all, director does not know the basics of the movie making: story jerks and sound is time to time unhearable. CGI is odd combination of cheesy and excellent. This piece is really made for kids. Amanda Brooks is hot, but she hardly talks in her part. I don't want to say anything about the story.
