Even as a DBZ loving kid in the 90's, I thought this movie was kinda lame. The villain is literally the EDGY version of Goku, the tree is more or less irrelevant in the long run and none of the fights were the least bit memorable. Not to mention its place in the timeline makes absolutely no sense...

Well this sucked. The villain is literally a reskinned Goku, there are no interesting side villains, no humor, everybody but Goku is worthless, and the plot and ending are dumb. I really can't find a reason to recommend it unless you REALLY need more Dragon Ball.

i love that i thought he ate the fruit, but he actually didnt, and used the tree against itself in his spirit bomb lol. love gohan and icarus. love that all the z fighters get involved. love turles and his concept. and his slightly different saiyan pride to vegeta's, and his opinion on gohan and shit
