Mack Sennett might have produced the first American comedy feature film Tillie's Punctured Romance (1914), however he's mainly known for his 2-reelers. But he did on rare occasions venture into extended comedies. Here with Down on the Farm (1920), a 5-reel feature, which means 50 minutes of what had then become known as Keystone style comedy. A little slowed down and with more time for the story to develop, but not really anything more then what he'd cram into his 2-reel slapstickers.
