Down Under

Decent comedy that centres mostly around race relations in Australia and never gets as preachy as it could be and does contain a few good laughs, but a lot of the humour falls flat for me, especially in the more meandering scenes, and there seems to be more contrived moments than actual thoughtful jokes. Also, any of the shoehorned drama here and there (and that taps off the film) is not needed in this comedy. Paul Fenech did this sort of thing funnier a decade ago.
