Ugh. These people are the worst.

A void of a picture; there's just nothing here, no inspiration, no energy, no imagination, no effort. A compilation of everything bad about the romantic comedy as a genre.

best romance movie for 2000

The awkward construction is interesting, & many of the scenes get the feelings of involved in this sort of relationship right, aside from the bogus happy ending, of course. My main problem with the picture is that this idealized romance skirts the most interesting conflicts, and plays more to enforce this traditional relationship formula rather than to challenge the formula. Then again, movies aren't really much of an agent for social change as they are enforcement of dominant ideologies anyway.

The film is very silly, barely has a story that sustains. Useless.

Freddy Prince Jr. stars in this generic love story. Nothing special or entertaining about this film. See it if you like romantic flicks otherwise avoid it.
