Down Memory Lane

Mack Sennett's recycled cavalcade. Basically a bunch of random clips from his library of films clumsily put together to make a cash-in hour of fun.

Middling assemblage of vintage silent comedy is too scattered and disorganised to be regarded as anything approaching a definitive "look back"; abrupt change of pace mid-way through to a "best-of Bing Crosby the crooner" is fine if that's what you came for, but feels like out-of-place padding. Amusing sequence with Swanson and the general likability of the enterprise makes this watchable.
