Doore Doore Oru Koodu Koottam

With a fake teaching degree, Diwakaran (Mohanlal), who had barely passed the 10th grade, goes to the remote village of Kundankadavu to teach English there at the dilapidated local L.P. (Lower Primary) school. With encouragement from the school cook Sujatha (Menaka), a poor but educated girl, Diwakaran turns over a new leaf & tries to educate himself to be able to teach the students & to reform the school.
