Most of the comedians at the time did Chaplinesque comedy shorts to profit on the demand. Here both Monty Banks and Harry Mann are bastard version of the little tramp. Car owners who get into trouble with thieves while at the same time trying to court a lady. The actual comedy has very little to do with Chaplin. This is your random lame gag comedy with the characters disguised as Chaplin in hope that'll improve the profits.
