Don't Knock Twice

I don't know how a horror movie can be both terrifying and bad, but this is it. This movie is generic and has an uninteresting plot. And I couldn't sleep for weeks after watching it. Thinking about it now in the darkness of my room is filling me with a vague sense of unease. If you want to be scared, then I highly recommend it. However, don't expect any substance at all.

Pretty boring and generic for the first hour, things picked up for the last 30 minutes but ended right when things were finally getting good.

Despite being anchored by two very talented actresses and an intriguing concept, it's a disappointingly & almost shockingly bad, bland, and boring movie. Featuring scares that don't land, a messy, trope-heavy and rather thin plot with several contrived twists, characters that aren't easy to invest in, and a pace that drags on and on, it's a shell of what it could have been and never comes close to reaching its potential.

One suspected there might have been some issues making this film when one character suddenly says "do you have your passport?" for no reason.

Well-filmed, with an interesting take on original myths, but the film came across as unfinished - they obviously intended to end on an ambiguous note, but it almost felt like you were missing a final scene, or even a final act. Underwhelming, in honesty, but individual scenes are very powerful, and the depiction of the monster is refreshingly creative.

This movie isn't that good, but the witch is super creepy and not the typical scary face bullcrap that's in every other horror movie now

Just worth the first hour. Kind of Asian horror movie.
