Pretentious, dark with no meaning, and somehow had a good budget. No intention of revisiting this at all.

Probably the most unintentionally hilarious film I've ever seen. Sutton's blindly macho vision of working class America includes some of the least impactful violence imaginable -- probably because the bad guys are a guido vampire and a manic-pixie-dream-girl who has an identity crisis after her brother won't kiss her?? Fuck this whole movie - Its inconsequential schlock that tries to be dark for the sake of being dark. Only points here are for the scenery.
