Unwatchable. The MTV generation finally gets their movie and it's flash cut to the point of nausea. If you can sit and watch this, actually sit and focus on the screen, than you are a better man than I, and probably blind.

Overlong and nearly incomprehensible. Kiera Knightley inches ever closer to her goal of looking like a man while Tony Scott tries to prove even trained (drugged) monkeys could make a movie.

The story and dialog, except for a few choice moments, are bad. Kira Knightley looks ridiculously out of place as she is a very petite woman and does not look like a bounty hunter. The "love story" is tacked on (and speaking of tacked on the lap dance scene feels so forced it is laughably bad). With that said I'm a huge, huge fan of Tony Scott's style and thus the high rating. If you love Tony Scott then this film is for you. If not then stay away.

I really don't understand this film. It is so disjointed, unrealistic and fake. The quirk of the guy speaking Spanish to women who don't know Spanish was really dumb. Keira Knightly does not look in any way like a fighter, not even remotely, such a bad casting decision. The rushed cuts and fast paced editing was just so out of place for the type of movie they were making. I actually felt embarrassed for the people who made this movie, it felt like I was watching a C- student film.

Scott makes a real high energy action flick here. The cast does a good job with the script here, especially seeing Knightley playing a bit of a different role. The comedy mixed in is also pretty decent (Walken has some good lines). The heavy cut-jump style of filming does get to be a bit too much though.

This is what happens when top gun meets donnie darko. Whoever thought this constellation would bring an artistically coherent result, should be hung upside down and take one hundred lashes from the bullwhip. On his bare ass. As a reward, of course.

Domino is a film that never should have been. Its subject matter isn't that interesting, for one, and even though she, the woman of the title, was a friend of the director, it doesn't give him a reason to make a film about her life. We don't learn much from this biopic anyway, as we're never told what's real and what actually happened, so it's best to just forget that Domino exists and watch a movie that will actually teach you a thing or two or will at least entertain you.

You may look at all those actors and think, "This movie must be great!" You would be very wrong. I didn't like one bit of this movie until my roommate and I just started ragging on it about halfway through. Tony Scott's classic over-stylization and unnatural ability to make films 30 minutes longer than they need to be can't be forgiven in this film because the script is so damn bad.

By far the most visually radical work of his productive late period, if any film proved that Scott really was an 'action painter', Domino is it. Boasting a dizzying array of formal techniques, Domino dives into the mind of its protagonist with reckless abandon, resembling a chaotic fever dream like Natural Born Killers in its best moments, without the smug satisfaction. The satirical digs at the media are obvious but funny, and the final shootout is operatic and exhilarating.

Not without its flaws, but this film was far better than the reviews suggest. If you can get past the visual style of this film, which I personally loved, there's a funny, entertaining action movie with its tongue firmly in cheek to be found. Keira Knightly is surprisingly good as are the supporting cast. Though the subplot about Lateesha is a bit forced and draws attention away from the main plot for far too long. A great hollywood drug-movie.

I've suspected that Tony Scott believed he found another Tarantino through DONNIE DARKO director Richard Kelly. Alas, this one's a giant egg; aggressively meta to the point where it can't develop a crumb of pathos much less a simulacrum of a soul. Scott's over direction may actually be the best thing going for it.

A total dog's breakfast. I wanted to like this film, and it starts out decent enough, but collapses into a pile of steaming dog excrement somewhere around the second act - if it were possible to figure out where one scene starts and another ends. Lays on everything too thick -- big explosions, loud soundtrack, shaky zoomy camera, overly "cool" characters with lots of zippy one-liners. Also, kinda confusing. But not too bad, Rourke and Knightley are charismatic enough to carry the picture and make it entertaining. I'm not sure how I feel about the bizarro cameo by Tom Waits.
