Whatever intrigue the movie conjures, it's smothered by repetition. This could have worked better as a short. I don't need to see forty scenes of David stalking Lise and fighting with his other girlfriend. Fights with girlfriend. Stalks Lise. Another fight before stalking Lise. A fight after stalking Lise. I GET IT. He's abusive. Attentiveness to the plot has plummeted by the finale which could have been somewhat powerful without the redundancy of 70% of the movie.
